Programa de Manejo Personal de la Diabetes is a diabetes self-management program for Spanish-speakers. Developed at Stanford University, it is an evidence-based workshop running 2.5 hours per week for 6 weeks proven to:

 

• Improve health status, health behavior, and self-efficacy
• Decrease emergency room visits

Spanish-speaking adults who have type 2 diabetes
