New York University Caregiver Intervention

 

New York University Caregiver Intervention (NYUCI) is a four-month, evidence-based workshop that has been shown to:

 

  • Improve mental and physical health of the caregiver
  • Delay institutional placement of the care recipient in a nursing home
  • Increase support from members of caregiver's network
  • Increase satisfaction of support
