Community Partnership Criteria

These are some important considerations for participating in a CAARN research project as a community partner:

 

1.  Community need in subject area

 

2.  Agency ability to supervise project at local site

 

3.  Agency ability to recruit participants

 

4.  Potential for sustainability of project/intervention (i.e., staffing, interest, board/upper level support)

 

5.  Prior experience in subject area

 

6.  Previous experience with implementing and sustaining evidence-based prevention programs (Stepping On, Sure Step, Living Well - chronic disease self-management,  Powerful Tools for Caregiving, other)

 

7.  Previous experience working with research or academic projects
