Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program (formerly PACE) is designed to help people learn and practice the different techniques needed to build an individualized self-management program and gain the confidence to carry it out.  Held 2-3 times a week, for eight weeks, this evidence-based workshop has been shown to:

 

  • Reduce bodily pain and stiffness
  • Maintain or increase muscle strength
  • Balance and coordination
  • Endurance Decrease fatigue
  • Overall perceived health status


Who should consider taking Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program?

Adults with arthritis or related rheumatic diseases or musculoskeletal conditions

How do you become a leader?

To be trained as an Arthritis Foundation Program Leader visit http://www.aeawave.com/Arthritis.aspx to complete an online training for $129.
